Video advertising is a relatively new type of interactive media advertising. It creates a company image, promotes services or products, and provides information to increase sales. It is posted on various platforms, of which YouTube videos are now especially popular.
Advertising videos are shown before (pre-roll), in the middle (mid-roll) and after (post-roll) the main videos. There is also an overlay - a graphic banner that appears while video content is playing.
